Review of: Functional model for safety sensor with LED stripes - exhibition construction, Exhibition model for radar sensor with display - exhibition construction

Great product. Our company develops complex radar sensors and systems. Conveying how they work and their advantages to customers is difficult without expertise. The task three years ago was to build a demonstration model for our trade shows that is both self-explanatory and impressive to our customers.

With the engineering office Glaser we found a company that impressed us from the very first second. Johannes Glaser listened to us very carefully and understood precisely what we wanted and needed. Thanks to the extensive equipment of his machine park, he could incorporate innovative ideas and possibilities, so that in the end the finished radar demonstrator far exceeded our expectations.

What we particularly appreciate is the perfect adherence to time and costs. The quality manufacturing with appropriate finish. The comprehensive and farsighted planning as an overall project. Among other things, Mr. Glaser also thought through the transport logistics very precisely. After 3 years we now also have long-term experience from a total of about 7 trade shows where the demonstration model was used. It was also important to us to have comprehensive service from the engineering office Glaser and replaceable parts so that the exhibition model still looks like the first day.

In the meantime we have the second trade show demonstrator in continuous use for a very important new product and the third is in planning.

According to our calculations, the demonstration model has already paid off after 2–3 trade shows. We receive very positive feedback from customers and other exhibitors, and we were able to significantly increase our lead success by double digits, among other things thanks to Mr. Glaser's trade show models. By the way, we use the trade show exhibits permanently in our office for customer meetings outside of trade show operations, i.e. 365 days a year.

There is only one reason not to recommend the engineering office Glaser: because then he would eventually have no time left for our new projects!

Review of: Trade show exhibit for hygienic seal with water - exhibition construction

This year we wanted to show something special at our trade show booth.

When searching for an exhibitor builder for extraordinary exhibits I came across Engineer Glaser. Already one day after my inquiry the first online meeting took place. Johannes immediately understood our concerns and worked out an exhibition-ready concept overnight that brings the technical aspects to the point and combines them with aesthetic design. A real eye-catcher with glowing clouds of fluorescent granulate under UV light. Brilliant! Already one meeting later we were able to view the 3D model virtually in our office via AR. The entire Hygienic-Seal team at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies was thrilled.

During the entire project phase Johannes kept us updated via a website with pictures, videos and greetings from the workshop. Almost as if we had been there live. Spontaneous phone calls and short-notice meetings were possible at any time. We were particularly pleased about the personal visit to the trade show booth after project completion. The reliable and trusting collaboration with Johannes contributed significantly to the success of our project.

Johannes combines creativity, design and technical know-how in one person. From planning to manufacturing to the practical transport case, he implemented everything with great commitment and much attention to detail. Thank you for the great project and the extremely professional collaboration!

The Hygienic Seal demonstrator was a great success at drinktec in Munich. Interest was very high and many visitors wanted to know who built the demonstrator. Of course we enthusiastically recommended him.

Review of: Warehouse robot Mule

We must under no circumstances fail to present our statement / our review for Johannes Glaser, electrical engineer in Nordheim.

On our depressing search for a programmer for an unmanned industrial truck, the fortunate contact with Johannes Glaser at the end of 2021 was project-deciding. Furthermore, from today’s perspective, it is the maximum top benefit for us and this project. In the past we have — and wanted to — fundamentally not write reviews. However, the indeed almost breathtaking reliability and competence of Johannes in electronics and programming has now made it necessary to make our findings from working with him accessible to anyone who wants to read them. For us at least, Johannes is today the yardstick in electrical engineering and programming. None of his predecessors could juggle so precisely — almost virtuoso — with controllers as hardware and his programs written in C++ as software. As mentioned, this is indeed “breathtaking” for us. And — this must be explicitly mentioned — not only in theoretical talk and proposing possible solutions (there are companies and freelancers “en masse” available on the market); but factually, actually and consistently with the identical physical delivery of his solution proposals on an electronics board, which then also work without complaint on first request. And that also at top speed. For this we must bow and take off our hats, carried by deep conviction: “Chapeau”, my dear Johannes, “Chapeau”. It may be that this, our statement, may seem overheated; but any reader can verify the truthfulness of what we have presented by bringing their own project, with which they are stuck, to Johannes. We are sure he will not disappoint.

With the hope of being able to keep you in our ranks permanently.

Review of: Sensor-Box IMU with AHRS

Within the scope of a development project we found Mr. Glaser via an online search for a suitable developer for a demanding microelectronic circuit. From the first contact through several meetings to the completion of the circuit board in industrial quality, we were excellently supported. His dynamic, open and fresh manner fit well with our project team and was very conducive to creative solutions.

Mr. Glaser’s office response times were extraordinarily fast, the processing effective and the result excellent. The online meetings were professionally organized and conducted with all possibilities of modern visualization technology. Thus, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we were always very well informed about the current development status. Inquiries and short-term change requests were handled very competently, quickly and obligingly.

With Mr. Glaser we succeeded, despite procurement problems in the electrical supply chains, in completing an ambitious prototype development economically efficiently and successfully within a tight time frame. Mr. Glaser embodies the young, innovative and flexible generation of specialist offices, of which unfortunately there are too few on the market. We clearly give our recommendation for Mr. Glaser.

Review of: Trade fair model for radar sensor with display - exhibition construction, Functional model for safety sensor with LED stripes - exhibition construction

Johannes Glaser addressed the topic holistically: electromechanics, software, packaging, even fluid technology as well as design and marketing.

Within a very short time a masterpiece was created that far exceeded our expectations for robustness and user-friendliness. We are still thrilled! The demonstrator is now being used internationally at trade fairs.

I have never encountered such strong commitment, technical ingenuity and universal competence in one person.

Johannes, I am sure we will work together again!

Review of: Sensor-Box IMU with AHRS

As project and deputy head of department, I would like to use this review on behalf of the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research to highlight the outstanding performance of engineer Glaser. In the course of the research project ROBBE - robot-assisted processing of assemblies during the decommissioning of nuclear power plants - Mr. Glaser, as an external development engineer, made an important contribution to the success of the project.

The task was to develop a mobile sensor box with Wi‑Fi and an inertial measurement unit (IMU). What initially seemed like a manageable project quickly proved to be a complex task: to achieve the highest precision in recording orientation in 3D space, demanding mathematical algorithms such as singular value decomposition and Kalman filters had to be implemented in the C++ programming language on a microcontroller. Therefore it was all the more impressive that Mr. Glaser presented a high‑performance sensor box before the agreed delivery date. In a very short time he not only refined the original concept, programmed the software and developed the electronics, but also produced the hardware, including 3D printing and CNC milled parts.

The outstanding quality of the delivered software and hardware as well as the detailed documentation, the well‑founded presentation of the development steps and the use of professional measuring technology exceeded our expectations. Many thanks and respect for the excellent work and great collaboration.

Review of: Examples from software development

Since 2016 Mr. Glaser has been developing professional software solutions for our company, the wero group. From the beginning I was impressed by his grasp and structured approach. He immediately understood what mattered to me; created a concept from my ideas and implemented it lightning fast into reality. Our collaboration is characterized by the fact that I can express my wishes and shortly afterwards I am delighted with the results. What Mr. Glaser programs with foresight runs stably, reliably and is very user friendly. A good example is our Doc-Manager software, which is now used by over 100 of our customers for audit‑proof document management. The software has been running smoothly on a total four‑digit number of devices for years. Our customers can contact Mr. Glaser directly, who implements their requirements immediately. Thus the software is continuously optimized according to customer wishes and grows with us.

In this review it is important to me to particularly emphasize communication with Mr. Glaser. He is very well and directly reachable, uncomplicated, asks the right questions and exceeds expectations. Also from an economic point of view, collaboration with Mr. Glaser is an excellent investment that has already paid off several times.

I would recommend him as a 'hidden gem' because he masters his field in a virtuoso manner and is unique with his precision and speed.

Learning begins where imagination becomes tangible.

From this conviction, Johannes Glaser of the engineering firm Glaser and Adrian Siebing, lecturer for New Web Technologies at the Service‑centric Networking (SNET) group at Technical University of Berlin, met in the electrical laboratory in Nordheim.

Amid prototypes, tools and creative ideas, Johannes Glaser handed over a professional 5th‑generation MakerBot 3D printer to the group.

This device gives students direct access to additive manufacturing—beyond theoretical concepts. Complex industrial projects at the group can now be made practicable within student projects. The ability to realize ideas directly creates a hands‑on bridge between teaching and research. Students gain not only initial experience in 3D printing but also the mindsets and working methods that characterize innovative development processes.

The entire group under the direction of Prof. Dr. Axel Küpper sincerely thanks for this valuable contribution to practice‑oriented education.

Pioneering spirit from student days strengthens control engineering lab

On behalf of the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg‑Schweinfurt (THWS), Prof. Dr. Abid Ali sincerely thanks Mr. Johannes Glaser for donating the experimental setup 'ball balance' to the control engineering laboratory.

More than ten years ago, then‑electrical engineering student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering showed extraordinary commitment. Instead of limiting himself to controlling an existing experimental setup, he independently developed and built a completely new control plant. Together with his fellow student Daniel Neeser, a demanding setup—the 'ball balance'—was created. This teaching model now enables our students to learn the theoretical fundamentals of control engineering in a hands‑on way. The aim of the experiment is to design a stable control loop that uses a propeller drive to regulate a metal ball to the center of a seesaw.

We are delighted with this valuable addition to our control engineering laboratory and appreciate Mr. Glaser's contribution to the practical training of our students. We wish him, as a self‑employed engineer, much success and all the best for the future. His commitment is a shining example of the connection between theory and practice that we particularly promote at our university.

Donation of over €1,000 to the Waldkindergarten Volkach

Last Friday the engineering firm Glaser surprised us with a donation of 1,000 euros to the Förderverein Waldkindergarten Volkach. Managing director Johannes Glaser and his team were on site to present the symbolic check.

The company from Nordheim stands for technical progress and places great value on creative approaches and individuality. During a tour of the facility in the middle of the forest Johannes Glaser commented: "In a toddler's imagination everything is still possible. As an adult, what remains is what kindergarten, school and parents have allowed. Instead of pressure to perform, children should have the freedom to develop their creativity in nature and be allowed to think without walls."

The forest kindergarten's concept addresses this: the children invent toys with their own imagination and natural materials. Daily life takes place in a free environment in the forest, guided by caregivers who pass on their connection to nature to the children.

"Therefore we consider the donation a matter of the heart and are confident that more companies will support the forest kindergarten," said Johannes Glaser.
